System Restore Group Policy restrictions

I want to turn off my system restore but because i am getting a message "system restore is disabled by group policy", i am not able to do so.

- Click Start, Run and type GPEDIT.MSC
- Navigate to this path:- Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> System Restore.
- Enable it.

When i tried to run gpedit.msc, windows gives an error "Windows cannot find 'gpedit.msc' ...".

So, try this you will surely solve the problem
-> Delete the value DisableSR
->Delete the value DisableConfig
- Click Start, Run and type regedit.exe and press Enter
- Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftWindows NTSystemRestore
-> Delete the value DisableSR
->Delete the value DisableConfig
- Exit the Registry Editor.
- Now you can easily turn off/on your system restore.
