Cannot delete file access denied

I want to delete some files from the C Drive, I can't delete these. When i click on Delete then I get the message that access denied. Please help some of these files are large I want to save disk space.

Ok, please follow these steps to delete these files.
- Please make a note of the location of the file, for e.g. C:\windows\undelete.exe
- GO TO Start -> Run -> type cmd
- On the command prompt, browse to the folder where the undeletable file is located.
- For above example, type \> cd c:\windows
- Now start the Task Manager by pressing CTRL ALT DEL key combination. In the processes tab, look for “explorer.exe”. Once located click on “End Process”.
- Now, come back to the command prompt. Type DEL the name of the undeletable file.
And press enter key. This will delete the file.
