After I log in, a black window appears and nothing happens.

Press Ctrl Shift Esc to open task manager. Then in file menu click new task. Type Regedit. Press OK. Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Winlogon". Look for the String Value "Shell" and it should contain the data value of: "explorer.exe c:windows ....." change it to "explorer.exe" without quotes. And restart your computer.
